This is one of my favourite paintings of the iconic Steam Clock in Gastown, Vancouver, Canada.  The billowing steam, multi-toned whistles and historical design of this steam-powered clock have impressed millions of visitors and residents alike.  Gastown, established in the 1870's, was the original townsite of Vancouver.
